What's been going on?

Things have been kind of slow here lately, snake wise. Both Onyx and Sunset are sheddy, and have gone into what I refer to as their pre-shed seclusion. I don't usually bother them during this time, except to check on them every few days. But I sure do miss them. Snow has finally started to grow. She was so tiny for so long, but now she is almost 16 inches long, and will be 7 months old tomorrow (the 11th). Onyx is my biggest snake at probably 18 inches long. After he sheds I'll measure him to get an exact length. He will be 7 months old on the 24th. He is ready to move up to fuzzies, and will do so as soon as I get some in. I have them on order from RodentPro. Sunset will be ready to move up in a couple of weeks as well--maybe another month--but I'll probably leave Snow on pinkies until they are all gone. By then, she should be ready for fuzzies as well. That's about all the reptile news from around my house. I'm trying hard to wait a few months until I can go to a herp show. I want an Apricot Pueblan Milk snake really badly. But I have to wait until I get my tax return in before I can get a set up for him or her. Sigh, I guess I'd better do my taxes then...But right now, I'm heading for bed. Goodnight everyone. Happy herping.

Well, both Sunny and Onyx have shed now. Sunny shed during the night last night, and Onyx shed today while I was at work. I'll try to get new pics later today.

Ok, thanks Becky. I agree that things have been going pretty slow around here. I have been busy making the site so I haven't been coming here as frequently as I should. People really need to start talking! lol. Laughing
